NIC District Centre, Rewa

National Informatics Centre (NIC) is a premier organisation in the field of Information Technology (IT) in India. It provides State-of-art solutions to Information Management and decesion support requirements of the Government and Corporate Sectors. To extend the services of NIC up to grass root level and to provide IT culture among the State and Central Govt, offices situated at the Distt. H.Qs. District Informatics Centers were established in 1988. In the same year NIC Rewa came into existence on 06.05.1988. Since it's commissioning, this centre is providing it's services to the District Administration by designing, developing and implementing various MIS applications. Various training sessions and computer awareness programme have been conducted by NIC Rewa to make govt. officials computer literate and make them able to handle the S/W smoothly.  Rewa is a divisional district. So we are also providing our services to Divisional Level Offices.

Achievements

PARAKH : This S/W facilitates the  monitoring of the basic amenities at village level. Monthly data received from all 9 Janapad Panchayats are  being consolidated and transmitted to Vallabh Bhavan.

AGMARKNET : This project is running at two mandies of the Rewa district presently. First is Krishi Upaj Mandi Karahiya and second is Krishi Upaj Mandi, Baikunthpur.

Bhu Abhilekh S/W : This s/w is used to generate computerised report of Khasara  & Khataunis (ROR). Any body can get the reports of his land on request.

Works Monitoring System : Works Monitoring System is used by district administration for the monitoring of construction work going on under various agencies of the district.

Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha Elections : Right from filing of nominations to declaration of results of Parliamentary, Assembly elections we have extended our full support to the district administration.

DOTL : Presently this S/W is being used in three offices Collectorate, CEO ZP office & S.P. Office for monitoring of D.O. Letters & Time Limit papers etc.

Besides above mentioned MIS Applications Payroll System, S/W for MPR at office of DWCDO, CNAA, SSPS, Daily Crime Reporting, MPLADS, PDMS, CCMS and RCMS, CROPINS are also running in this district. The computerisation of Flood Relief Survey in 1997 was very appreciated by district administration.

Video Conferencing : Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Babulal Gaur dedicated the Videoconferencing facility from District informatics Centre, Rewa to the State and people by conferring over the VC facilities with 8 Divisional Commissioners/Collectors and Mantralaya on 3rd September 2004. Since it's inauguration date average 25 V.C. sessions are being held monthly. Divisional Commissioner is also monitoring the progress of various schemes in the districts under Rewa Division Rewa.

Collectorate LAN : Computers installed in Collector's Chamber, Food Controller Office and Single Window System, Jan Suvidha Kendra, District Treasury (One PC) are directly connected with NIC using LAN.
